Cancellation & refund policy

01 Overview

This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work on Lumex^™, operated by Webority Technologies Private Limited (CIN: U72900HR2019PTC079747). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.

Lumex^™ is sold to businesses, not to consumers (see Terms section 03), so consumer cancellation or cooling-off rights do not apply. This policy is what governs cancellation and refunds. Where a mandatory law in your country gives you a right this policy cannot reduce, that law prevails.

02 Subscriptions & billing

Lumex^™ subscriptions are priced per seat and billed monthly or annually, as you choose, and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. There is no free plan and no charge per report. An upgrade or an added seat takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata for the rest of the current period; a downgrade or a seat reduction takes effect at the next renewal. Fees are shown before purchase, are exclusive of taxes unless stated, and are processed through our payment provider, Razorpay. A billing address in India is billed in Indian rupees, with prices exclusive of GST, 18% GST added at checkout and a GST invoice for every payment. Any other billing address is billed in US dollars, as an export of services with no Indian tax, and where your country applies reverse charge you account for local tax yourself.

03 How to cancel

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your workspace billing settings, or by writing to support@lumex.zone from your registered address. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access to the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can withdraw the cancellation from the same page until shortly before that date. After the period ends the workspace becomes read-only: you can still sign in, read your projects, assessments and reports, and export your data, and you can subscribe again at any time. Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends. The workspace stays read-only for 12 months, then closes, and its work is deleted 90 days after that, as our Privacy Policy sets out. We email the workspace admins before each step.

04 Free trials

A new workspace may start with a free trial of the length and limits shown at sign-up. A free trial needs no card. Your paid plan starts when you pay for it. Paying ends the trial that day. Nothing is charged during the trial, so there is nothing to refund for it. Reports generated during a free trial carry a watermark, except under the founding member offer.

05 Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, or as Terms section 17 provides for a material change you do not accept, subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period after cancellation. If you have been charged in error, or experienced a failed or duplicate payment, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and refund any charge that was genuinely made in error.

06 How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, a refund is typically initiated within 5 to 7 working days; the time for the amount to reach your account then depends on your bank or card issuer.
