Answer in minutes, not by rebuilding the file
A challenge usually arrives weeks after you signed. The model, the inputs you used, the coefficients the engine applied and the revision history are all still there, so you can reconstruct your reasoning rather than defend a spreadsheet you no longer remember.
- Show the reviewer which national rules were applied. IEC 62305-2 clause 7.3 NOTE 1 allows a different tolerable risk after detailed investigation, and your regulator may fix its own value, so the engine resolves it per jurisdiction rather than assuming one.
- Open any figure to the coefficient and the table it came from, down to a single loss factor.
- Read an append-only log of who changed which input and when, so a late edit is never silent.
- Run a what-if on the LPS class or SPD coordination if the reviewer proposes one, and show what it does to the risk.
- Reissue a corrected report as a new revision, with the earlier one kept intact.
