About Lumex

What Lumex is and what you get

What is Lumex?
Lumex is web software for IEC/EN 62305:2024 lightning risk assessment. You model a structure and the engine computes your lightning risk against the tolerable limit, plus the frequency of damage to internal systems, from the standard's coefficients. What you walk away with is a branded, audit-ready PDF you can hand straight to the client, built by Webority Technologies.
What do I get from Lumex?
The deliverable is a 10 to 14 page PDF: the structure model, the full risk computation, protection recommendations, an engineer sign-off block and a revision history. It is the document a building owner files for compliance. Lumex also produces a short periodic LPS inspection checklist for the routine maintenance cycle.
Is Lumex a full IEC 62305:2024 engine or a simplified estimator?
It is the full IEC 62305:2024 method, not a simplified estimator. Lumex computes every risk component and resolves your lightning risk against the tolerable limit, plus the frequency of damage to internal systems, all from the standard's coefficients. Every number on the report traces back to the clause behind it, and the how it works page walks through the method.
Does Lumex handle periodic LPS inspections (IEC 62305-3)?
Yes. Alongside the 62305-2 risk assessment, Lumex produces a periodic LPS check per IEC 62305-3: a 2 to 3 page checklist for the routine (typically annual) maintenance cycle, covering physical LPS condition, the earth-resistance reading, a defect list and photo attachments.
Can I put my own branding on the reports?
Yes, on paid plans. Your reports carry your firm's name and logo, your accent colour and your sign-off line, so the deliverable looks like your firm's, not ours. The free tier carries a Lumex watermark. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
Pricing & access

Launch, pricing and plans

When does Lumex launch?
Lumex opens to the public soon. Join the waitlist to get in on day one.
How do I get access before launch?
Join the waitlist. We are inviting firms ahead of launch, and waitlist members get access first. Add your firm to the waitlist and we will be in touch.
What will Lumex cost?
Every plan includes a free monthly quota and you spend a credit only when you download a finished PDF, so you are never paying to draft. Launch figures are on the pricing page. Join the waitlist to be notified the moment plans open.
How does pricing work?
Lumex is credit-based. You spend one credit only when you download a finished report or inspection PDF, and credits never expire. Every plan includes a free monthly quota and unlimited users in your workspace, with no seat fees; re-exporting a revised PDF costs one credit. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Is there a free plan, and can my whole team use it?
Yes. Every plan, including the free tier, gives you a free monthly quota, unlimited assessments in the calculator and unlimited users in your workspace. You only spend a credit when you download a finished report, so the whole team can model and preview at no cost. If that is the part that matters, join the waitlist to try it on day one.
The standard, fit & data

Who it is for, the standard and your data

Who is Lumex for?
Anyone who has to produce an IEC 62305 lightning risk assessment, for their own buildings and sites, or for clients. That includes in-house engineering, facilities and safety teams at data centres, hospitals, telecom, industrial and other high-value sites, alongside the electrical and MEP consultancies, lightning-protection specialists and auditors who issue assessments for others. Join the waitlist to get early access.
What is IEC 62305 and how does the assessment work?
IEC 62305 is the international standard for protection against lightning. Part 2 (IEC 62305-2) defines the risk method: you assess a structure and the engine builds the eight risk components, resolving your lightning risk against the tolerable limit, plus the frequency of damage to internal systems. The how it works page walks through the method in detail.
Is my data safe, and what about privacy?
Each firm's workspace is kept separate, and we handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and the data-protection laws that apply to you. Our privacy policy sets out what we collect and how it is used.
Which regions does Lumex serve?
Lumex is built for teams in India and the GCC at launch, with billing and pricing that fit those regions rather than a generic global tool retrofitted to them. We expect to cover more regions over time.
