01 The right

Section 12 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to erasure. No reason required, no retention queue. This page also serves users covered by the GDPR / UK GDPR ("right to be forgotten") and the CCPA.

02 How to request

To request erasure, write to [email protected] from your registered email address, telling us what you would like us to erase. If you belong to a shared workspace, your Admin can also remove your data and account from within the workspace (see section 05).

03 The process

• Acknowledgement: within 1 working day.
• Identity verification: a quick check if the request looks unusual.
• Erasure: completed within 7 days, logged with a deletion hash.
• Confirmation: written confirmation once it is done.

04 What gets deleted

• Your account and firm profile
• Uploaded documents: drawings, single-line diagrams and site photos
• Projects, sites, zones and assessment records
• Generated reports and inspection records
• Support and contact history
• Consents and preferences
• Analytics and error-monitoring records tied to you

05 Team & workspace accounts

If you belong to a shared workspace, deleting your own user account is different from deleting the workspace and its assessments, which are controlled by the workspace Admin. Where another user is the data fiduciary for the records, we will direct your request to them and assist as their processor.

06 Statutory exceptions

We retain the minimum we are legally required to keep, for example, tax invoices for eight years under Section 36 of the CGST Act, and consent records for the period set by the DPDP Rules, 2025. We also retain records under an active legal claim, and anonymised analytics that no longer identify you.

07 If we decline

We only refuse a deletion where the law requires us to keep the data. If that happens, we will tell you why, and you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at Webority Technologies Private Limited.
